Argentina is rightly famous for malbec, but they’re far from the only string to its bow. Variety is the spice of life, they say, and they do some damn good things with cabernets (amongst others) there, too. Not ready to abandon malbec completely, though? How about a compromise? Mix it up with a malbec cab franc blend. H.J. Fabre is one of the best at blending up reds, winning award after award for their work. This one boasts a well-deserved gold medal and 95 points.
