Château Haut Brisson Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2018

Nicely layered and beautifully balanced, yes indeed this wine is! A blend of 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc, this wine is also powerful and wonderfully structured. After meticulous handpicking and sorting, the wine was fermented in tank and then raised in new, one and two year old oak for 15 months. That’s a fair amount of oak, that you’d certainly expect from the style, that will contribute the the longevity of the wine. Expect a peppery nose, full of liquorice and ripe black fruits.
