The icon Billecart-Salmon Champagne house have a 200 year history in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, where they craft some of the best sparkling wine in the world. This chardonnay-dominant rosé is a wine that has been poured by the glass in some of the world’s best restaurants - more than a mere celebration wine - it’s the epitome of class and style.
Like the Brut Réserve, this wine was fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness, but it did go through malolactic fermentation - so expect drive balanced with creaminess. It’s made with 40% reserve wines, which brings complexity and depth, and it was aged on lees for a total of 36 months - wow! That’s 36 months of TLC in the Billecart Champagne caves before making its way to you!
