Price Drop: Carobbio Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2015

We aren’t new to the Chianti from Carobbio. We’re well aware that it’s fantastic. What we are new to is their Reserva. This simply isn’t made every vintage, but only in the years that truly sing. 2015 was one such year. Grape selection takes place from three different vineyards, each with different soils ranging from clayey to extremely rocky. 18 months in French oak adds structure and ageability to this 100% sangiovese, bringing forth the red fruit character along with spicy and chocolate notes.
